West Sound Challenge 



1)  BAG TAG OVERVIEW


a. Everyone is on his/her honor to conduct themselves according to the rules and

within the spirit of competition.  Have FUN.  It is only a Bag Tag.


b. Players shall display their Bag Tags while playing disc golf.  Bag Tags shall be

plainly visible and not hidden.  No hiding Bag Tags (Put up or shut up).


c. If a Bag Tag is lost, the number will not be reproduced.  Players can purchase

a new Bag Tag and will receive the lowest Bag Tag number available.


d. COST: $10 (Current WSDGA membership required).


e. PAYOUT: Bragging rights and a Bag Tag “Raffle for prizes at the Final Event.



2)  WEST SOUND BAG TAG CHALLENGES


a. Challenges can be made at any time during the West Sound Challenge Series. 


b. The higher Bag Tag number (player) challenges the lower Bag Tag number.

Challenges SHALL be verbally agreed upon at the beginning of EACH round,

including FORMAT.  If the challenger wins the round, the tags are exchanged.


c. Challenges are to be made by choosing times, dates, and courses that are

reasonable and when both players are available. Each challenge must be

completed in one round except during organized events.


d. The challenged player picks the course, tees, and format.

  

e. Higher Bag Tag numbers are encouraged to use an incentive bonus of a $5

donation to challenge the Top 10 Bag Tags. (Cheap Lessons)


f. EVENTS:  If two or more tags are present at any organized (singles) event

then it is mandatory to participate in a Bag Tag Challenge. The Bag Tags are

thrown into a pool and distributed by score at the end of the Event.  All Bag Tag

players must play the same course layout for the challenge to be valid.


g. GROUP CHALLENGES: The Bag Tags are thrown into a pool and distributed

by score at the end of the round.  Lowest Tag chooses the course and format.


h. TIES: Won by the holder of the lowest Bag Tag at the start of the challenge.


i. INCOMPLETE ROUND: If play is stopped before the round is complete, no

Bag Tags are exchanged unless agreed upon.  This could be due to hazardous

weather, physical emergency or mutual agreement.
